Sugar Snap Peas With Lemon, Garlic, And Basil

Serves 6

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1-1⁄2 teaspoons grated lemon zest plus 1 tablespoon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
1 recipe BLANCHED SUGAR SNAP PEAS
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Salt and pepper

Instructions

Heat oil over medium heat in 10-inch skillet until shimmering. Add zest and garlic and cook until garlic is soft but not browned, about 2 minutes. Add peas, lemon juice, and basil and toss to combine. Cook until just heated through, 1 to 1-1⁄2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
