Stovetop Rice - Vegan

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups long-grain brown rice
1/2 teaspoon salt
Water

Instructions

  1. Place the rice and salt in a saucepan and cover with enough water to come about 1 inch above the rice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat, and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
