Keto Chili

Ingredients

.5lb bacon
2 green peppers
1 yellow onion
2.5lb meatloaf mix
6oz tomato paste
28oz diced tomatoes, drained
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne
1 tbsp chili powder
1 packet McCormick chili seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into 0.5-1 inch pieces, fry until crispy, place in slow cooker.
  2. Saute onion + green pepper in bacon fat, add to slow cooker
  3. Brown ground meat in remaining bacon fat (1.25 lb at a time) add to slow cooker
  4. Add tomato paste and diced tomatoes to slow cooker
  5. Add spices, mix thoroughly
  6. Cook on low 6-8 hours.
