Honey-Roasted Spiced Pecans
3/4 tsp. Ground cumin
1/2 tsp. Crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
1/4 tsp. Ground Coriander
1 tbsp. Honey
1 tbsp. Grape seed oil
1 cup of Pecans
Preheat the oven to 250 Degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix together the cumin, flakes, salt and coriander.
Heat the grape seed oil and honey on a skillet at medium heat until the honey dissolves. Add pecans and coat them stirring continually for 3 mins. Add spices and stir to coat for another three minutes.
Turn the mixture on to the parchment paper. Bake for 45 mins. Remove the parchment and place the pecans directly on the pan. Separate them so they do not clump and then cook another 30mins. Until season dry to the touch. Stir them occasionally while baking. Let pecans cool and store in an airtight container.
