Cheese Filling

Makes 1 Cup; Enough For 1 Danish Braid Or 9 Individual Danish

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1⁄4 cup (1-3⁄4 ounces) sugar
1⁄2 teaspoon grated lemon zest

Instructions

Whisk all ingredients together in medium bowl until combined. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until stiff, at least 1 hour or up to 2 days, before using.
