Bread Machine Wheat Bread

1 loaf


250 ml water
2 tbsp oil + extra to coat the tin
3/4 tbsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp (about 10g) vital wheat gluten
50g high gluten flour
300g whole wheat flour
1 tsp instant yeast


  1. Coat the inside of the bread tin with oil

  2. Add the water

  3. Add the salt, sugar, and oil

  4. add the vital wheat gluten, high gluten flour, and whole wheat flour

  5. Make a small divot in the top of the flour and put the 1tsp yeast in there. Make sure it doesn't get wet.

  6. Turn on bread machine for 1.5lb loaf, medium dark.
