Blanched Sugar Snap Peas
Serves 6
Ingredients
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound sugar snap peas, strings removed
Instructions
- Fill a large bowl with ice water and set aside. Bring 6 cups water to boil in large saucepan. Add salt and peas and cook until peas are crisp-tender, 1-1⁄2 to 2 minutes.
- Drain peas, transfer to bowl with ice water, drain again, and pat dry. (Peas can be set aside for up to 1 hour.)
